AfCFTA’s Delegation visit to CRCICA on 18 Jan. 2021

In the continuous efforts exerted to promote CRCICA and strengthen the ties with Africa, Dr. Ismail Selim, Director of CRCICA; Dr. Dalia Hussein, Deputy Director of CRCICA; Dr. Mohamed Hafez, FCIArb, Counsel and Legal Advisor to the Director of CRCICA; Ms. Heba Roushdy, Head of Conferences, Training & External Relations of CRCICA and other team members of CRCICA were delighted to welcome on Mon. Jan. 18th  the African Continental Free Trade Area’s (AfCFTA) delegation included H.E. Mr. Wamkele Mene, Secretary General of the AfCFTA; Ambassador Dr. William G. M. Brandful, Head of Protocol; Mr. Anoh Hyacinthe Assemien, Senior Protocol Officer; Ms. Fatma Yusuf, Advisor; Mr. Samuel Wood, Assistant to Secretary General; H.E Amb. Mohamed Karim Sherif, Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister - Deputy Director of the African Organizations and Groups, Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and more representatives from the AfCFTA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Dr. Selim presented CRCICA’s efforts in boosting its consolidation with Africa and gave a look back on CRCICA’s notable history in cooperating with African arbitration centres and endorsing CRCICA’s role in the development of arbitration. The meeting also discussed the importance of implementing a dispute resolution protocol, which aligns with our mission to present “African solutions to African problems”.
