Mr. Remon Ramzy Banoub (MCIArb) joined CRCICA in September 1999 as a Case Manager and was gradually promoted to Counsel in the Dispute Management Department. Mr. Banoub managed more than 800 institutional and ad hoc arbitration cases. In July 2008, he was appointed as Deputy Head of the Dispute Management Department.

Prior to joining CRCICA, Mr. Banoub worked at the Litigation Department at the Ministry of Finance, Economy and Foreign Trade for seventeen years. He also practiced as an independent lawyer before Egyptian courts.

Mr. Banoub is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and a Certified Mediator. Mr. Banoub attended most of the conferences organized by CRCICA. He published an article in the Journal of Arab Arbitration (Vol. No. 25) titled “Arbitration in Individual Labor Disputes” in the Arabic language. Mr. Banoub delivered a presentation on “Arbitration Costs: A Practical Perspective” in the Second International Arbitration Conference in Libya titled: “The Role of Arbitration and Mediation in Supporting Investments in Libya” organized by the Libyan Center for International Commercial Arbitration (LCICA) in cooperation with CRCICA. In addition, he trained a group of Libyan and Iraqi case managers to manage institutional arbitration cases.

Mr. Banoub obtained his LL.B from Cairo University in 1982.
