CRCICA Mourns the Loss of Mr. Said Hassanein

On 17 September 2020, CRCICA has lost Mr. Said Hassanein, Assistant Director and Director General of Financial and Administrative Affairs. Mr. Hassanein was one of the CRCICA’s founders and main pillars. Prior to joining CRCICA, he worked at the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Egyptian embassies in many countries including Switzerland, Sweden, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Sudan. In 1984, Mr. Hassanein joined CRCICA as Administrative Director. Mr. Hassanein had contributed to the establishment and the foundation of CRCICA’s professional infrastructure together with CRCICA’s Former Directors: Dr. Ahmed Esmat Abdel-Majeed and Coun. Dr. Mohamed Aboul Enein. Later, through his skilled management of the centre’s administrative affairs he had substantially and remarkably contributed to CRCICA’s development under the directorship of Dr. Nabil Elaraby, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Raouf and Dr. Ismail Salim. Then, he managed the financial affairs during difficult times and challenges thanks to his insight and wisdom.

Mr. Hassanein was a model of sincere devotion, punctuality, and dedication for nearly forty years for the benefit and development of CRCICA. He enjoyed a kind spirit and friendly attitude with CRCICA teamwork. He will always be remembered.
