CRCICA Hearing Centre
Located in the heart of Cairo with panoramic views of the Nile, CRCICA offers a wide range of services, from the administration of arbitration and mediation cases to the booking of its hearing facilities. CRCICA offers the use of its hearing rooms and breakout rooms for parties to cases that it does not administer.
As the region’s longest-standing arbitral institution, CRCICA is well versed in the specificities of arbitration and mediation hearings. Be it reliable high speed internet access, privacy and confidentiality, audio-visual equipment or even food & catering services, the Centre is ready to provide you with all the needs and requirements of a modern-day hearing.
The Centre offers a range of services alongside its hearing rooms. We understand that parties may have special requests, which we are happy to discuss.
Foreigners (Non-Egyptians) from over 70 eligible countries wishing to visit Cairo, Egypt to use the CRCICA Hearing Centre only need to apply for an Egypt e-visa

CRCICA Hearing Rooms
Named after prominent figures in Egyptian arbitration, the Dr. Mohamed Aboul-Enein, Prof. Mohsen Shafik and Judge Mamdouh Attia hearing rooms toe the line between modern design and oriental identity.
All of our rooms include:
- Wi-Fi & wired network connection to internet

- Audio recording in WAV & MP3 to Compact Flash, SD/SHC and/or USB memory
- Audio-visual and technical support
- Complementary water and writing pads

Dr. Mohamed Aboul-Enein Hearing Room
The crown jewel of CRCICA’s hearing rooms, the room is named after the late Dr. Mohamed Aboul-Enein, CRCICA’s longest running Director. With an area of 130m2, it can be set up either in a U-shape layout for hearings, accommodating up to 30 persons, or in a classroom set-up for training courses, accommodating up to 50 persons.

- Videoconferencing systems with high impact visuals, using ISDN connection and internet protocols (allowing for up to 4 multipoint sites simultaneously)
- Translation booth with simultaneous interpretation equipment (supporting up to 2 languages)
- 2 × 75” Full HD Large Format LED Display on both sides of the room
- 55” Full HD Large Format LED Display with mobile floor stand
- Multifunction interactive projector
- Wireless digital discussion system
- Video recording in DVD or USB memory
- Built-in shelves for parties and arbitrators
Prof. Mohsen Shafik Hearing Room
At 65m2, Prof. Mohsen Shafik Hearing Room is CRCICA’s second largest hearing rooms. It is named after CRCICA’s inaugural director. The room is set up in a u-shape layout for hearings, which accommodates up to 20 persons. For larger groups, this room may be hired as a breakout room.

Judge Mamdouh Attia Hearing Room
Named after Judge Mamdouh Attia. Although it is CRCICA’s smallest hearing room, with an area of 51m2, the room’s location on CRCICA’s premises puts it closer the breakout rooms. The room is set up in a u-shape layout for hearings, which accommodates up to 20 persons. For larger groups, this room may be hired as a breakout room.

Breakout Rooms
CRCICA’s two soundproof breakout rooms were designed as the ideal space for parties to retire to during an arbitration hearing or to separate in mediation. Set-up with a roundtable and armchairs, accommodating up to 7 persons each, the 35m2 breakout rooms are well equipped and quietly stylish.

We will respond to your enquiry within 7 business days of receipt.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Regarding the confirmed booking of any of the rooms in the CRCICA Hearing Centre: any cancellation request must be confirmed in writing (by letter, fax or email). Bookings cancelled 10 working days before the start date are eligible to an 80% refund. Bookings cancelled 5 working days before the start date will be eligible to a 40% refund. No refund is possible if the cancellation request is received less than 5 working days before the date of the start date.
